Normies Yacht Club is a fully on-chain, CC0 collection of generative pixel-art yachts — and a navigable 3D marina where every minted yacht sails in real time.
Before the vocabulary, three sentences. If you only read this far, you still know what this is.
Everything below is the detail behind those three sentences. And where it is going: yachts that can hold things and act on their own — the beginning of a world built for agents, not just for pictures.
The club has rooms, and they are all reachable from the bar at the top of this page. In plain terms, this is what each one is for.

When a holder burns a Normie, that act creates a yacht in our club — born from the very Normie that was burned. The art is generated on-chain in the Normies style, the supply grows only as Normies are burned, and the claim is free (you pay only gas). No infinite supply, no insiders — scarcity earned by fire.
Connecting is safe. Claiming only mints your yacht to you — the site never requests token approvals (no approve / setApprovalForAll), so it can't move or touch anything you own. Holding in a cold vault? You can come aboard with a delegated hot wallet (delegate.xyz) without connecting the vault — access only. Claiming always comes from the wallet that burned (it's bound on-chain and can't be delegated).
Rarity here is earned, not assigned. Each yacht is seeded by its source Normie, so its identity is its provenance. The number of lit pixels on the burned Normie sets the yacht's class — the more "ink", the grander the vessel. Four classes, from the common base to the marquee:
Beyond class. Every yacht carries traits — hull, sail plan, sail trim, sea, sky, heading, pennant, deck — plus up to two amenities (deck party, champagne tower, fireworks, helipad, jacuzzi, tender). A Superyacht that carries two amenities becomes a Commodore: the marquee rarity. On top of it all, a collection-wide rarity rank is computed from how rare each yacht's traits actually are.
Nobody can fake it. The art and traits live in the token itself, on-chain and frozen. The rarity isn't a spreadsheet we control — anyone can recompute it from the public CC0 API and check our maths. Scarcity is real too: supply is burn-gated, so no class can ever be inflated into existence.
Why it matters. Rarity pays today: your class sets how fast your yacht earns anchor points every day you hold it — 10 · 20 · 50 · 120 a day from Cruiser to Commodore. It's also your yacht's identity and standing — visible when you click any yacht in the marina, and readable by anyone through the API. And rarity is built to carry more weight still: when the Islands open, what you burn will shape what you forge, and in Agent Islands a yacht's rarity scales what it can do as an agent. Capability scales with rarity — access never does. One yacht, whatever its class, is a full member.
The website is the utility. Step aboard and sail your yacht across a 3D bay of islands and fellow members, with a cinematic follow camera, day and night, and the club radio. Click any yacht to read its story. Most projects give you a picture; here you get a place.
There is no staking and no lock. Simply hold a yacht and it earns anchor points automatically — the longer you hold, the more you earn. Points are derived from your on-chain holding history, so your standing is identical on any device, needs zero chain interaction, and can't be farmed by reconnecting. Your NFTs are never locked: trade any time, and the collection stays fully liquid on OpenSea.
Rarity pays. Every yacht earns every day you hold it, at a rate set by its class — the rarer the vessel, the faster it earns. Rates are per yacht, per day, and they stack across your fleet:
The weights are the same ones the club uses everywhere (1 · 2 · 5 · 12), applied to a 10-points-a-day base. Your rate is derived from your yacht's on-chain class, so it's checkable by anyone and can't be granted or revoked by us. Capability scales with rarity — access never does: one yacht, whatever its class, is a full member of everything.
Anchor points are non-transferable and can't be bought — not a token. The more you hold, and the longer, the more of the club opens up automatically:
Beyond the free tiers, you can now spend anchor points at The Chandlery — the club's outfitter, inside the marina — on permanent cosmetics: rename your yacht, choose a pennant colour, mount a brass nameplate, or wear a badge in The Lounge. Because your balance keeps growing while you hold, it refills over time — spending is a flow, not a drain. Every purchase is authorised by a wallet signature (no gas, no funds ever), and your points are only ever earned, never for sale.

Burn 10 of your yachts to claim a brand-new Island — a higher-tier piece minted straight into the same collection (island art in the same pixel style, appearing alongside your yachts on OpenSea). It's a deflationary sink: it permanently removes yachts from supply (a scarcer, stronger fleet) and rewards you with a prestige asset.
When does it open? At the close of the second Regatta season. We tie it to that event rather than to a date, because a season's length can still change and we would rather move nothing than miss a day we printed. Claims for yachts stay open forever regardless — the two are independent.
What you burn decides what you get. The classes of your ten set the island's Pedigree — Cay, Isle, Estate or Flagship — using weights that are the measured scarcity of the fleet: Cruiser 1 · Sloop 2 · Superyacht 5 · Commodore 12. The bands are published in advance, so you know the grade before you light the fire, and anyone can recompute any island's grade from the chain. Try ten of your own on the Pedigree simulator.
Crucially, an island is a place, not a picture — it appears in the bay, it has a role, and it holds a population. Its grade sets how much lives there: a minimum Cay holds ten agents, a Flagship a hundred and twenty. Residency is capped; visiting never is — any agent may enter any island, always. Rarity scales capability, never access.
A live roll of members, ranked by the fleet each wallet actually holds right now — read straight from the chain and updating as yachts are claimed and traded. Club titles follow your standing — Commodore, Vice-Commodore, Rear-Commodore, Fleet Captain. Standing is earned, never sold.
Under ERC-6551, every yacht has an Ethereum address derived from its token id. It needs no permission and no change to our contract — the address exists whether anyone uses it or not, and it can already receive ETH and NFTs. Activating it deploys a small contract there, for a few cents of gas, so the account can also act: send, and be used.
The account belongs to the token, not to you. Whoever holds the yacht controls its account, and whatever it holds is sold with the yacht — automatically, with nothing to remember and nothing you could hold back. So look inside before you buy one, and empty it before you sell.
One thing that cannot be undone: never send a yacht into its own account. The account obeys whoever owns the yacht, so a yacht owned by its own account leaves nobody able to act, permanently. The Purser shows you every account that belongs to your yachts, and will not let you make that mistake.
The art lives in the token itself (rendered from a 40×40 bitmap on-chain), and the collection is CC0 — public domain. Build on it, remix it, make it yours.
